Inhalational Agents

• Volatile agents: sevoflurane, isoflurane, desflurane, halothane
• Nitrous oxide (N₂O)
• Key concept: MAC (Minimum Alveolar Concentration) — the concentration at which 50% of patients don't move to a surgical incision

Intravenous Agents

• Induction agents: propofol, ketamine, etomidate, thiopental
• Opioids: fentanyl, morphine, remifentanil
• Benzodiazepines: midazolam
• Muscle relaxants (neuromuscular blocking agents):
  • Depolarizing: succinylcholine
  • Non-depolarizing: rocuronium, vecuronium, atracurium
• Reversal agents: neostigmine, sugammadex, naloxone, flumazenil
